PCSchool Rebrand FAQs
PCSchool will be joining the FACTS family from 1 March 2023! FACTS acquired PCSchool in 2018 with a vision to be the partner of choice for our customers by providing best-in-class school management solutions. Over the last few years, we’ve integrated our products and aligned our teams.
We’re excited to move forward under the FACTS brand, offering a complete suite of school management tools that improve the educational experience for schools and their families.
We’ve answered some commonly asked questions about the rebrand below. Please use the form below to submit a question if you have an enquiry that isn’t answered here.
- Who is FACTS?
FACTS is a respected global brand that has served schools and their families with financial management services like payment plans, billing, and payment forms for over 35 years. More than 11,500 K-12 schools and three million families globally use FACTS. Read the FACTS story here.
- Will the PCSchool brand disappear?
Yes, the PCSchool brand will be retired from 1 March 2023. The existing PCSchool product will be renamed FACTS School Management.
- Will the URL we use to log in change?
If your school uses a pcschool.incloud.net.au URL to log in to the system, this will change to fsm.factsmgt.com.au/<schoolname> on 1 March 2023. We will set up an automatic redirect for a period of time to ease this transition.
If your school logs in using your own domain, the login link will not change.
- Do we need to provide families with a new URL to log in?
If your school uses a pcschool.incloud.net.au URL, the login link for families will change to fsm.factsmgt.com.au/<schoolname> on 1 March 2023. We will set up an automatic redirect to ease this transition.
If your families log in using your school’s own domain, the login URL will not change.
- How will families be notified of the login URL change?
If your school uses a pcschool.incloud.net.au URL to log into the system, we ask that you update any links on your website and share with families via your school’s communication channels that the URL has changed to fsm.factsmgt.com.au/<schoolname>.
- Will PCSchool mobile applications and the apps.pcschool.net site be affected?
Yes. On 1 March 2023, the PCSchool mobile app names will be changed to FACTS School App, FACTS Route App, and FACTS Entry. The apps.pcschool.net URL will be updated to apps.factsmgt.com.au. We will offer a redirect for a period of time to ease the transition.
- How can we update the PCSchool logo on our digital or printed materials?
We kindly request that you replace any PCSchool logos with the FACTS logo on your school’s website or printed materials. The logos can be downloaded here.
- Will the rebrand affect our school's data storage and security?
No. You will not experience any data storage or security changes due to the rebrand.
- Will there be periodic system outages throughout the rebranding process?
No. We do not anticipate any disruption in service or outages due to the rebrand.
- Will our customer support change?
You’ll continue to receive best-in-class customer support, and your service options will be enhanced as we grow and invest in more resources. The support email address will change to fsm-support@factsmgt.com.au We’ll set up an automatic redirect for a period of time to ease the transition.
The community and knowledge base URL will change from support.pcschool.net/hc/en-us to fsm-support.factsmgt.com.au/hc/en-us and we’ll have a redirect in place for a period of time.
- Will you still host the annual PCSchool Conference?
